The second event of .LUM | C=0 involved promotional interviews to showcase the local Rotterdam artists that were scouted for the festival. The content highlighted their love for the city, heritage and their musical love for the music sets and the event itself.
For the event, we searched for a concept that made sense for the place where the event was organised: Rotterdam. The event was called ‘De Kade’ because it was situated in the old harbour of Rotterdam, the rural 50’s industry that made the city significant and that still gives its raw and true nature. The artists represent this phylosophy and where all local Dj’s and bands.
For the promotion of the event, we wanted to showcase this energy and phylosophy behind each artist through art directions and interviews. They were asked about their backgrounds, their love for the city and their connection to the musical vibrations of the local music scene and our event. The content was used as video content, both short and long scenes, and for the graphical language of posters and digital content.
In the end, the event was a large success with 600 visitors, a large variety of cultures and deep connections within the scene.
